History

A post office was established at Saint Leon in 1852, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1955. The town was likely named for St. Leon Bembo. According to the 2010 census, St. Leon has a total area of 6.989sqmi, of which 6.98sqmi is land and 0.009sqmi is water. As of the census of 2010, there were 678 people, 252 households, and 182 families residing in the town.
